Default $100 Toshiba HD DVD
They're probably all gone by now, but WalMart on Friday dropped its price on the Toshiba HD-A2 to $98.87 while stock lasts .

It's actually not a very good hd dvd player, but for $100 I'd rock it. For $179, you might as well get the A3 for $20 more. BB has them for $200 including 3 free HD DVDs (plus the 5 by mail).

I wouldn't be surprised if there's not some sort of follow up to this, perhaps even Sony pushing BR.
