heres the car i have been spending my time on recently. its a silverstone 1991, bought it from a guy on the boards Miatanutz a while back for 200. this page shows my progress from bringing it home from his place to the most recent. this means i am going to start to take parts off of the other miata :( so itll be imobilized, miataless sucks. all painting was done by my self as my last one was also and i wont be using a top or heat or ac or windshield wipers. stripped out enough to keep it around 2000 pounds in auto x mode no gas or driver. itll be pretty dedicated but i will keep full interior no top. still got alooot of work to do, its only just begun really
getting my old bushings out and getting some super pro pushed in its place currently. should get them on with new alignment bolts all around and new ball joints and new bearings front and rear and new rotors and pads all around in a few weeks
its going to be 1.8 fronts with braided lines and hawk pads and stock rotors. putting in a 1.8 running off of a megasquirt and an intake manifold i am currently working on. going to grind down the stock fly a little and get an act kit and run the open diff untill it dies so i can save a little for a kaaz.
turbo setup will consist of 2.25 alum ic piping and 25x8x3 fmic and a tial bov. stainless 1.5 inch runner log mani running a .48/.49 t25 and a stainless 3 inch downpipe with an ecutout and 2.25 exhaust running to the back with a magnaflow dual exit i made already. aiming for a reliable 200 whp.
suspension will have to wait but it will be ground controls with 500 f and 325 rear with fm sways and koni yellows. wheels will be lenso's vpd 13x7.5's in hoosiers and that should git r dun till i want more power
