Default More Summit Point pics!

Well, I didn't know at the time, but there was a photographer at Summit Point taking pics and there were a couple of my car. Yay!

The first photo does not really capture the angle of the carusel which is more like 45 degrees.

Yes, I know my car is filthy in the second pic, but it was after a couple sessions on the skid pad so there was nothing I could do about it.

I'm kinda pissed. My local track is super expensive ($3700 to become a member, $75 per month, and $15 per session with only one guest allowance per month), and now requires nomex from the shoes, to the horseshoe neck brace, and even nomex gloves. They also decided that if you have a top on your miata, it must be up to run.

We need a cheaper track, with more reasonable rates.

:O

$50 membership, free subscription to grassroots. $300 for the weekend (6 - 20-30min sessions)

Typically $125 for Fridays at the Track, no membership required.

Damm. Where are you at in Virginia? Maybe once I get my car back running you'll have to show me the ropes. I'm kinda new here and I'm not one for going in a straight line and autocrossing was cool when I was 16 but I just never knew of any real tracks around here.

When did they start running FATTs at VIR? I thought it was only a SP thing...I've only done one FATT and it was $225. Its too far of a haul for one day for me, but I'm a lot closer to VIR. ANyone doing Audi club next month at VIR?
