New pipes went on today. ECU goes out for tune tomorrow. Winter hits hard this weekend.

Got an O2 plug on order. Gotta rip the DB killer out somehow, it's really stuck in there.

Ha. Thanks! Yes the car is doing very well. Track this weekend was a success overall. Glad to see you out riding the bike as it's meant to be ridden.

Pipes and tune. Also fender eliminator.

It's to bad the bike season is pretty much at an end here.
I have one more event of the season this Sunday. I wanted to take the bike, but with the temperatures being 35-50F it's all the more reason to take the turbo miata.

What is this? Those aren't stock fairings, because those actually look good?

Those actually look to blend into the SV lines better, I like it.

How did you get the butt plug out?

Also, my jealousy is super strong. I really want an FZ-09.

Went at it from the inside / inlet with a curved pry bar and a hammer.

I miss my Yamasaki KZ750 cafe-ish bike I was putting together. Sold it before I finished mocking up the GSXR 600 rear swingarm :-/

Awesome, thanks! I really want to get a windscreen for longer trips. Finally settled on some suspension upgrades, just have to sell my other bike first.

Definitely an Ohlins single adjustable rear shock (S46DR1) and either the Stoltec revalve up front or Ohlins Cartridges. The Stoltec revalve is the most attractive option at this point considering the bike is for pure street use (communiting/spirited mountain rides). This keeps the total investment much lower and it is probably adequate.

There is still part of me that wants to go all in, I know the value of proper suspension and the cartridge replacement is tempting. The shock will get ordered separate and I'll throw it on to see how the bike feels. The front end was improved dramatically by the 20w Maxima fork oil.

That's pretty much exactly what i'm looking at doing as well. Probably save up the cash over winter. Need to add a steering stabilizer as well.
