Get the Daytona. You won't regret it. My '10 SE was recently stolen and guess what I want? Another Daytona 675. It's just really well rounded package. Hell read just about any review pf it.
Finding A Daytona 675 SE is near impossible but I located one in PA. I live in Texas and would gladly go that far for another.

Well. Previous owner fell off / fell down. Frame sliders took most the beating. So i didn't do that.
But the front fender fell off, had one screw left on it when it went.

Yup.
It's a bit scratched up, and a plastic tab where a hole is for the bolt (that was the only one left) broke away.
But it's a good thing it came off too, because i now see that i need seals for my front shocks. They're starting to get a little wet / leak.
Edit* after it went, i realized it only had the one screw left in it. I had them all down and tight. Locktight will be used nextime.

I've always wondered what it would feel like if a driver decided to drift/bully their way into my lane on the freeway and I tried to kick their car with my boot... Would I lose my balance? Would I overcorrect? Would I injure myself?
Oh, it felt sooo good.
Two lanes exit the freeway, I was in far right lane, one car ahead of me in the other exit lane, no cars in front of me in my lane. Doing about 70. An SUV moves up past me on the left and slows down behind the car in front of him. My front wheel is about 10 feet behind his rear bumper. Then I saw the headlights of a car flying up behind me, had to slow way down when she got to the SUV, My front axle slightly ahead of her front bumper. She decided she was going to bully her way over into my lane. I saw her slowly move over, and when she was about a foot and a half over the line I delivered a swift blow to her front fender with the heel of my boot. That bitch backed off REAL quick once I did that. Slowed way down to get a good look at her before my lane branched my third exit lane.
Before anyone gets the bright idea to ask "why did you swerve over to kick her, you ******* moron?" I'm going to tell you that I'm a line rider. I try to prevent situations where I need to take evasive action as opposed to needing to take evasive action. I constantly position myself in the lane to make sure that I'm most visible to adjacent traffic, usually that involves me being within a couple feet of a line as opposed to being in the middle of a traffic lane which I usually consider to be a much more dangerous place to ride as you're constantly in the blind spots of drivers on both sides of you. Often during rush hour I find myself switching between the left and right side of my lane depending on adjacent lane speeds. If the lane to my right is stopped completely, I'm all the way in the far right of my lane so that no idiot gets the bright idea to floor it into the apparent gap created by the motorcycle he can't see between two well spaced cars. On the contrary, I'm almost on the line, so I'm probably ALL that driver is paying attention to. When she drifted a foot and a half over the line to push me over so she could get by, she was well within boot striking distance, I didn't even stretch for it. Probably a foot to 18 inches away from the edge of the bike.
I'm an EXTREMELY anti-bully personality. I'm the guy who refuses to let entitled self-centered ***** cut me off. A woman recently drove into the side of my SUV because I wouldn't let her in after she drove on the shoulder AROUND traffic to get in front of everybody.
"You got a ******* problem?"
"Why didn't you let me in?"
"Because you don't deserve to be in front of me, bitch"

I wear gloves with a really hard carbon fiber bit over my knuckles. They're great for punching off mirrors. I figure, if they're not going to use it, then there is no need for them to have it.
Haven't had to knock anyone's off yet.
I believe they're the same gloves that jake the garden snake wears.

So i was stopped at a light (3 way intersection, i had to make a turn( it was left)) and it was one of them camera / weight controlled lights.
I waited at the damn thing for about 5 minutes. Traffic going the other way would stop but i never got the green light, and within about 20 seconds the traffic would go again. I sat through this a few times until the traffic stopped and i just ran the red. Plus the bike was starting to heat up. This particular light also had the cameras on it to tag people running red lights.
Should i be expecting a ticket in the mail?
Maybe the camera / weight thing didn't pick me up... This was also in a pretty deserted part of town which is why i was the only one waiting to turn left for 5 minutes at 7pm on a workday.
Anyone else have any experience having the weight sensor / camera not recognize you at the light?

If the light intersection goes two cycles without changing, I just go at a safe time. If I ever get a ticket for that, you can bet I'm going to be ten feet up someone's ***.
I've also had a buddy get off of his bike before, walk over to the crosswalk, push the button, then get back on his bike.
