I think the LiPos don't really like the cold though.

Before I go buy another receiver or two, anyone have a FrSky ACCST w/telemetry receiver they want to sell?

Would also be interested in a non telemetry one that works with the DJT module, smaller/lighter the better for some random small builds i want to try.

Possibly also telemetry addons for battery voltage etc....

What are you guys using for FPV and gimbals now? I may have an opportunity to get a gimbal/ FPV setup for a Gopro bought for me for a school project, but have no idea what the 'hot' setup is these days.

Curious also, looking for decent range FPV with OSD setup. Ideally that works nicely with my MultiWii Pro w/gps board.

I really shouldn't try to fly this in the house... it isn't small (compared to the v222).

Damn, is that running multiwii? Your PIDs suck.
Indoors it should be able to pop into a hover, rock solid.

I haven't touched the PID settings yet and my ESC wires dangle atm, so the little lifts drag and throw it off.

With the multiwii you dont want to use baro right off the ground, use it once your up in the air when you decide you need to hold altitude.
You definitely want to have accelerometer on though. Thats why it was flying all crazy. You were essentially in "acrobatic" mode.

It got much more stable with all three on, but vertically bouncy, had to be baro.

I'll play more tomorrow, with family/kiddo tonight.

All settings still default except now ACC (Level) is actually on.... it is literally 2nd flight so ignore my up/down as i adjust to the throttle sensitivity as I have such a small space to 'learn' real quick.
In HD (GoPro Hero3+ Silver)

Notice how it blows some postcards off the shelf once its high enough, thats about 8-10 feet away from it at that point.

Did tiny adjustments to RC Rate with good results. Much less dramatic movement with tiny stick inputs. Left RC Expo at .60 and brought Rate down to .50 (from .90).

Getting drift with ACC on and dead sticks, i noticed that sticks aren't putting out 0 at center consistently... wondering if its just due to the made in China 9XR or something I can adjust.

Off to learn more.

Grr, gimbals on this 9XR don't regain center cleanly... so its either new controller or about 15 shipped to replace both.

Worst group of facilitators and enablers ever... where are the e-fistbumps and encouragements to spend more money!

.... i need a gimbal... anyone have a gopro hero3 friendly one for cheap they want to sell (vs buying new). Controller/multi axis preferred as I'd like to combine gps hold and ability to control the camera during.

I was under the impression that was the purpose hobbyist forums?

I'm interested in the gimble feedback, GoPro is on my list of future acquisitions
