Default Crankshaft still good?

I've got a crankshaft and piston and rods that my friend gave me out of ka24de. First off this is the same crank that is in the ka24e correct? His motor ate a bearing, like devoured it and sucked it up the oil pickup. There is some scoring on the crank and a little on the rods, could i send this to a machine shop to get polished out or something? You can't feel the scoring but you see it, what should i do is it fubar?

I would think the machine shop is best equipped to tell you if the crank can be saved. Turned and bigger bearings might be the solution.

General rule of thumb (but by no means 100% accurate) is if your can catch a fingernail on it, even a little bit, it should be turned. Otherwise have it polished.
