Default TUF - Kimbo VS Big country

Anyone else watch this lastnight? My gf and I got dinner and watched it, seeing there was SO much ******* hype about it. Calling it a PPV like fight and saying how ******* crazy its gonna be. HUGE disappointment.

Kimbo definitely had a unsure look on his face the entire fight. Almost as if he was scared to commit to anything. And the fat **** Roy nelson is just about the worst fighter I have ever watched in my life. The guy is a sack of **** and shouldn't even be on this show.

How do you call laying your fat **** of a stomach on another guys face a TKO? That stomach has got to weigh at least 50-75lbs, not to mention the fat skin is hot and sweaty. So he uses that as his attack and basically smothers Kimbo with it and baby punches him in the top of the head until the ref calls it. I think the ref should have stood them up rather than call the fight.

For those of you that missed it. (2nd video only shows the 30 seconds where it ends)

10-years of training in a gym apparently is no match for decades of burritos and Budweiser.

I still don't think Kimbo is as good as they all say he is. The annoucers talk about all his street fighting knowledge and say how it will benefit him in the ring. If the street knowledge was that beneficial he should have never lost that fight. His reputation on the street made his opponents fear him, but in this sport he is now a target and you can see the uncertainty in his face.

That fat guy is so slow and the only way he wins is to wear them out because of his weight. Granted excellent strategy, but I still think that Kimbo just isn't cut out for this sport just yet. Maybe a couple more years of training and he is already older than most of the other fighters.

I was so pulling for Kimbo to win but.....Roy has been a long time player and knew exactly what to do to scrape by without putting his neck out to be taken apart. Even Dana was pissed about the fight.

Kimbo definately has a bunch of potential and of course he was nervous about commiting to anything, this was his first UFC fight against an IFL veteran. I was really surprised that Roy didn't tko Kimbo in the first round.

Every one thinks that this was Kimbo's "debut" into MMA but he did have fights for EliteXC which is a legit MMA organization. He ws knocked out by Seth Petruzelli in 14 seconds.

The preview of next week play it out that Kimbo might get a quick second shot.

In my opinion Kimbo got overwhelmed and hesitated a lot and his lack of ground skills got the best of him. Roy just did what he had to in order to take the fight. Kimbo shouldve been a bit more determined to his stand up, but he got caught up. Roy is a fat *** ************ it wouldve been hard for anyone to push that sack of lard once he was on top.

I like Kimbo I thought he really had his **** together this time. He looked a lot more humble than in his previous fights. He shouldve spend much more time improving his ground game. I was disappointed, again.

However it looks like the other huge black guy on Rampage's team might give Kimbo his fight I dont mind if thats the case.

I've seen better fights from High School gangs on the streets of Chicago.

This is just to make sure those people who are watching this season only for Kimbo come back for at least one more episode.

I like Kimbo and think he's a nice guy, but he is in over his head.

yep, straight up hardcore.

A few one-liners:
Great venue for the Olympics!
So this is what a community organizer does. [camera man was a community organizer, just like Obama]

It took you a while. We should have an Obama-meter and see how often you refer to him in a sentece.

Maybe we should light the Sears Tower up in red to celebrate the three day anniversary of his death?

How did this thread go from MMA to Brain hating Obama? Don't get me wrong, hating Obama is one of my favorite things to do but it does not fall into this thread.

Then again, I is newbz/FAIL

They all wanted to pass the retarded recovery bill and sing songs together; bush, mccain, obama, polesi...they are all left.

the only one really left that's not 'left' would be ron paul.

I think we should all get in a fistfight over politics and put it on youtube.

Roy thinks he's the #1 guy after that. What a joke. That wasn't a fight, it was a fat guy throwing himself on top of a another guy and just pinning him down.

Kimbo just needs to have confidence and keep training. He should have knocked that fat ***** head clean off his neck.
