rusty hoods...
late night web searching and i come across this somehow...
looks like the same shitbox honda i saw near my girlfriends house in boston
if they are going for the rad rod look, they are way off...
take your rusted hood off for good, chop the roof at an extreme angle, tack weld in place, remove windshield replace with the proper 1 pane glass, cut the hatch and quarter panels at the end of the doors and create a bed in place of it, get some antique mirrors and weld on the top of the door frame. then you can extend some old tractor wheels outside of body, which is placed on a model t frame with a carbed 5.0 motor.
finish off by rusting whatever body panels are left, place an oil drum and some other great depression memorabilia you bought on ebay in the bed. place your soshinoya badge on the tailgate, along with your jdm type r badge. feel free to add your super street biohazard sticker on your door too.

Thank god, you beat me to it. I was about to say welcome to last year. This almost looks like a copy and paste from another thread I've seen about this, either here or at another forum. You win old **** award.

They're not trying to be rat rods. And btw, the term "rat" can be combined with anything, it is not in anyway exclusive to hot rods.
It's called hood rides, look it up, its a very interesting philosophy. Basically you're not allowed to say their car is crap, because it actually is. Some of the VW ones are very well done. And yes, this is a repost, as the crowd has been around for a while now, there's a Miata hood rider floating around somewhere.
