Take a wheel-lock key set...

I recently put a Racing Beat dual tip muffler on my '99, and I was shocked to see how easy it was to install and (unfortunately) remove. Thinking I would be REALLY unhappy if someone decided to remove the $400 accessory without my knowing, I decided to replace the flange nuts with ordinary wheel locks. Yes, it's the same thread, and you can replace either or both nuts. I put stainless lock washers underneath. An unprotected muffler can be removed in 5 minutes or less with a wrench and a knife. With the wheel locks it's next to impossible without going to a lot of trouble.

Not really a great idea either, normally they are after the platinum bits, so they just bring a sawzall, and have your cat off no matter what type of bolt you use.
Than again they normally target newer trucks because they can get in cut and get out without a jack and newer trucks can have upwards of 4 cats.

Yeah....considering the dipstick who said that on m.net was talking about his Racing Beat MUFFLER....NOT the cat.
Oh prices on cat cores has dropped to the point where theft isn't nearly as much as it was a year ago. I was at the junkyard talking to one of the guys and prices are back down to normal/below normal.
