I used TurboTax Online, because it was free to file (perk for having State Farm for my homeowner's insurance).

There's a link that'll show up if you log into their web site.

if you dont have any itemized deductions it's brainless. if you do, hire a tax man.

My mother runs the three AARP free tax clinics here in Rochester. They use TurboTax, so I got to use it for my return. Includes electronic filing, and direct deposit refunds.

It was quick, fairly painless, and I got the refunds (both fed and state) within a month.

TurboTax if you make over 12k a year, free state efile with that. (you get one efile for fed included), TaxACT for free if you make under 12k a year

I used Turbo Tax Online for free, then had to pay $10 to get it to import my investment options. Seemed to work great and I still was able to efile for free. Easy and fast to use.
