I have at least 50 raw speaker drivers lying around. they range from 5/8" tweeters to 15" subwoofers and everything in between. Plus the working surround system in my house and stereo pair at work.
Also I have 2 working home-built amplifiers, 3 amps in progress, and 2 amps still in the box. oh and a few raw chipamps that I want to build into a test amplifier for testing the above speakers.
not to mention all of the testing and measurement equipment that goes along with that incluidng milk crates full of wires. whee wires! oh and lets not forget the MDF and half-built boxes everywhere.
Really I wouldn't be surprised if there were more than 50 speakers.
sizes on hand: 5/8 (2), 3/4 (2), 1 (8), 2 (10), 3 (8), 4 (1), 5-1/4 (2), 6-1/2 (2), 7 (4), 8 (4), 10 (2), 12 (2), 15 (3). plus the HT (11) and the work system (4), 15 total. so 50 raw and 65 total. not counting speakers that came to my house fully functional. I'm sure I'm missing some too.
no wonder i never have time to work on my car.

Now the big question for everyone here ... of all the stuff you've listed, how much do you own debt free?

I've been bitten by the RC Heli bug and have spent more on heli's than I think I actually paid for my Miata and all the upgrades... This is my main 3D heli, it is an HDX-450, all aluminum head and all the works.
Though I do have to say...damn they are fun to fly and are quite relaxing when the weather is nice...
Cheers,

must be painful when they crash!

Yep, it becomes a religious experience when they hit hard. I think that since building this new 450 I've logged all of 4 hours of flight time since I'm scared of it! Sadly any contact with the blades to anything other than air will require ~$100 in parts. (if you’re lucky.)
The key thing I have learned about RC helicopters is that: "It's not if they crash, rather it is when they crash!" So I bought a simulator to get my skills better and then I tackle the real world after a few simulator flights…
(And I do this to myself why?!)
Cheers,
Prospero
