Paint GV lip or not?
V8 car is running and going for bodywork this week, paint next week. Decision time.
The car is a NB, Hardtop rarely off, nickel 6UL's, large factory side skirts, factory mudguards, factory trunk spoiler, car is going to be 02SE Titanium with a Garage Vary NB front lip.
So, leave the lip black or paint it titanium? All along I was going to paint it, but today I paused and wondered, with the HT and large skirts, etc, would it be too much titanium or would black look like poor ricer boy who can't afford to body color match the lip?
Poll is up.

If you're building a show car then paint it.
If you're planning to drive it on the road then don't bother. Had mine painted last year and due to decapitating a couple of pigeons, ploughing through chunks of ice and general hard cornering, mine now looks crap.
The GV urethane lip is actually a bit porous, don't bake it, it'll bubble.
Or maybe bake it, spray whilst warm then bake dry. Chat to you're sprayer.

Had mine painted, it just accentuates imperfections, and makes the front look a little thicker compared with the sides if you don't have side skirts.
If you have something on the side to balance it visually, go for it, otherwise leave it black. It doesn't look budget, IMO.
Edit - My advice was for an NA. NB with color-matched skirts, paint it. But it will need some kind of protection to stay nice.
