For me the Vice picks don't matter nearly as much as the top of the tickets. Comparing Obama and McCain, here are the stats that matter...

Obama. Goes to Harvard, good looking, well spoken, political acheiver, writer. Best he can do is marry an angry black woman?

McCain. Military school, military career, medal of valor, moves into politics to continue service of the country. Marries a mega hot mega rich natural blonde!

Winner. McCain.

She'd be the 1st hot 1st lady since Kennedy was in the white house. Michelle Obama looks good but she also looks like she'd break your junk off and kill you with it.

Angry black women?? WTF. you may think Cindy is hot but I don't. Then again I think Michelle is ugly too. Military school, strong on discipline but no better than most mid level schools. Military career, OK, and so what, I did 23 years and currently work civil service. Medal of valor, you always get one of those when you **** up and get captured, I have a chest full of medals, with some pretty impressive sounding ****. Went into politics to serve his country? There a buch of folks would argue he did it for the power. There are many that claims the reason he married his wife was because her family had money and prestige. Hot wife, my wife looks better than her, to me at least....Hey, with your criteria, I should be running for president.

Joe Biden- Senator from Deleware. Population only 853,000 as of 2006. How high does the population have to me for it to matter?
He only went to Syracuse(not an Ivy league school) where he got his law degree. So he can't possibly be any better than Palin.

I also find it funny that everyone is comparing Obama to Palin. Palin isnt running for President, McCain is. So the comparisons should be Palin/Biden and McCain/Obama. Tell me why Biden is any better than Palin. What if something happens to Obama? Is Biden fit to run this country?

The only reason people are making that comparison is because the Reps have been pounding that (no experience) point for a long time about Obama. So, when that's your bread and butter argument and your pick fits in that very same picture you've framed, it makes you wonder what his motivation was and his judgment. McCain is on record saying he wanted a VP that could step in and run the country, that's not what he picked, was he lying, or just stupid? That's not to say she might not be able too, but based on what she has done, the odds are not in her favor, it just really seems like an unecessary gamble. His pick leads me to believe all he is concerned about is getting the win not the country, it's all about him. Then they argues that she has "EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE" over Obama....guess what, she has that over McCain, Biden, and Obama, none of them do nor does a good majority of the people that were running in the primaries. How ******* ignorant is that for an argument.

the bottom line is that whatever candidate supports programs and ideals that *I* support is going to get my vote. I don't care if they have 30 years as king of spain for experience.

Unfortunately the people who waver over which parties candidate to choose (of course I have to question how the hell you could go either way with parties that represent opposite values) are often those people that say idiotic stuff like "I don't know there's something about him/her that I just don't trust, I don't like that look on his /her face" etc. Voting record, issues and programs are the only thing that should matter. If they like ******* sheep on there own time I could care less. People also have to be reminded that you're not voting for one person, but a whole party and platform that will greatly influence that person's decisions.

edit: To quote George Carlin on his view of the voting public, " The public sucks. **** hope".

Obama? Hey, she's got a great smile. She's smart and know's how to turn on the charm. My impression is that of a generally unhappy and bitter person good at hiding it. Don't know her, won't know her, will never know the truth about it. True of most public figures. Just my personal and unsubstantiated feeling about her. Yes Johndoe, that stupid impression thing. Not voting for the wives though.

That's a pretty hot grandma.

Oh, I forgot. This is also the internet where we can make up any ol thing. Never could get that Tiger was gay thing going. He killed that when he got married. I still think that's just a cover for him though.

Also, for a woman that seems to have the whole black power thing going on, why does she straighten her hair?!?

Msyndor. You missed my point. It was all about landing the women. The other stuff was just a list of what led up to landing the woman, not a reason to vote one way or another.

Da bilities to land da hot women's was wut I was votin on.

Look Michelle Obama is a good looking woman, and if you are afraid of her, well that's where you're missing out... Angry sex with her would be a blast, I would rather spend the night with Michelle Obama, than Sarah Palin or Cindy McCain. Although a 3 way with Sarah and Michelle would be the best option.

Of course this is skewed because I myself am a political sci major, but honestly the things that are learned in say a class like comparative politics, are huge.

The extent of her traveling includes Kuwait and Germany. Makes you think maybe she has a pretty fucked up idea what the world looks like. Most likely a modern day T-O map with the good ole US of A at the center.
You know, I don't see Obama with any more foreign policy experience either... He's still waiting for the UN to take care of the Georgian Crisis... Oops you mean the Soviets can veto any action in the security council... Even a fricken 3rd grader knows that!

My point is that you could have gone to Yale or Harvard and be a horrendous leader with a warped world view. I will grant you that Obama is a very intelligent man, but that doesn't make him much of a leader. The ticket should have had Obama as the VP candidate where he belongs. I could then see your point, but when you put you're inexperienced wet behind the ears poster boy in as president you've made a bad move.

Obama has been on the attack calling Palin out over experience. Funny, you'd think that Palin was running for president. Someone might want to remind Obama that he's running against McCain.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/03/us...hp&oref=slogin

| Shortly after becoming mayor, former city officials and Wasilla
| residents said, Ms. Palin approached the town librarian about the
| possibility of banning some books, though she never followed through
| and it was unclear which books or passages were in question.
|
| Ann Kilkenny, a Democrat who said she attended every City Council
| meeting in Ms. Palin’s first year in office, said Ms. Palin brought up
| the idea of banning some books at one meeting. “They were somehow
| morally or socially objectionable to her,” Ms. Kilkenny said.
|
| The librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, pledged to “resist all efforts at
| censorship,” Ms. Kilkenny recalled. Ms. Palin fired Ms. Emmons shortly
| after taking office but changed course after residents made a strong
| show of support. Ms. Emmons, who left her job and Wasilla a couple of
| years later, declined to comment for this article.
|
| In 1996, Ms. Palin suggested to the local paper, The Frontiersman,
| that the conversations about banning books were “rhetorical.”

MMMM. Catwoman....

Okay. Put Michele in the catwoman outfit and maybe you have something. Just cut off that horrible polititian's wife hair. Should send her this pic of Halle!

I'm liking Palin for the sack though. Her daughter has shown us that there are dirty little country girl genes running in that family.

Mmm. Hot small town girls with nothing better to do than drink and wrestle...
