chp is cracking down on it too, they have the helicopters patrol the hills, so you don't even see them, and they alert a patrol car, or bike around the corner that your coming

seriously tho... yada yada yada.

my buddy (who also met speedyf50) has ridden ACH &/or Malibu canyons basically every weekend since about June. he's been pulled over once: for parking on the sidewalk.

this weekend's run of old topanga to dry canyon to top of stunt back to saddle and then down to PCH thru Tuna Canyon <<< toasted my cheapy brake pads w/ ooold brake fluid >>> yielded ZERO popo. i've never seen a police cruiser on tuna canyon itself. there isn't room for 2 cars. not to mention you don't have to go that fast to **** yourself on Tuna. especially at nite. OEM exhaust FTMFW.

if you're gonna haul *** on saddle + stunt + mulholland + nearby rock store.. hey.. you're on your own.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, left for a skiing trip that day.

Also tony, sorry I never met you at the "snake" as you called it(I call it summit point).

This is pretty ironic with all of this cop talk. After I left you guys at the top I met my friend and we left to go meet you guys/go to the drug store. Went down stunt at a... brisk pace, and a hayabusa came flying up on us, my friend pulled over for it, and right when he was catching up to me a nice friendly pig went by in the other direction. I didn't think he would have turned around, so I pulled over at the bottom and waited for my friend who pulled over for the busa. He arrived and then about 10 seconds later so did the fuzz. Long story short he said he would have arrested us and impounded the cars if it wasn't xmass day. I was pretty scarred.

After that, along with the fact that I totaled my last miata on that same road I say loud and clear **** STUNT RD. I am not driving that road for a long time. There are some less frequented roads that I enjoy much more.

speedy,

just re-read your sig.. shiiiet. if you still had ur '97 blk, it woulda been 4 black miatas at the stunt look-out spot..

btw, i dunno if the other 2 black miata owners that were there read this board but: i'm not driving with them no mo. my miata is all back to stock, i'm on some 320UTQ A/S tires + my fiance n i are trying to get married...

they're just too nuts for me. in passing, they told me they were flying on stunt at 80mph and they were so proud. i don't want to die and i like my life a lot..

Yo yo yo yo. Can't miss me, I'm the only Miata in California that has firefighter plates I think. Besides that, my silver is not Mazda Silverstone anymore and I have ghosted blue pearl stripes on my ****, that's good for at least 20 hp.

As soon as I get all my **** installed I'll be up for a ride, I'm working on a website so I need to get out on the road.

I'd definitely be down for a drive. Just not on stunt lol, I have been wanting to organize a drive for a while now, I have the route planned out and everything something like 30miles+ of canyon.

I have been trying to get together a west side miata meet with banilla on cr.net, yes its cr, but I didn't think there were enough ppl on here to get a meet together. We should get a miataturbo showing out there when it happens.
