OMG. I nominate the post Hyper just did as the post of the week. This is unreal - rotating a fitting solving coolant flow ...

And there's your problem. You interconnected the inner and outer loops of the coolant system. These connections introduce full time flow through the radiator regardless whether the thermostat is closed or open. The inner and outer loops should be separate and the thermostat should be the only thing enabling/controlling the flow through the outer loop.
Hmm, interesting thought. I like it.

Let me ask you a question, J-man. If I rotate TB 90 degree brushed fitting in discussion up rather than down and re-connect the TB coolant line there will the issue raised by you be resolved?

All he needs is a credit ...
He is desperately looking to create something which will make the whole world praise him ... coolant reroutes won't be that thing though - he needs to go back to school and study some physics first ...

The mods on cr.net are a ******* joke,I can't believe they deleted almost all of brains posts.....and mine too,in favour of a ******* moron with his head up his ***.

I guess they did not like my version of the coolant reroute using Thai hookers as the secret ingredient.

What he really needs to do is pimp out that Cuban tranny and make some real money.

I love that he's gone and still has threads about him blow up over here! You can't help but slow down and look at a train wreck.

I knew I should have kept it under wraps.

thats one of the many reasons i hate that damn place with a passion now. they welcome that kind of idiocy and actually side with it and protect it by editing everyones posts. he's found his new home and boy they couldnt find a more appropriate poster child that him.

Just to keep you all updated.

Thanks to J-man invaluable priceless advice; install RedHorse 1/8 plug here.
Just ditch that entire housing and route the hose coming from the Kia cover directly to the radiator - there is no need for it.
Of course you'll end up with a reroute what everyone else was telling you to do from the beginning. Why? Because the coolant reroute is no rocket science and people already know the proper way to do it ...
Nah, I don't think so. That is the rookie's way to do it. I ain't no rookie J-Man, as opposed to other Mickey Mouse coolant reroute set ups, no loose coolant hose in my reroute.
Now the front housing's purpose is to avoid loose hoses ...
That guy has some real mental issues ...

j-man, his whole gimic was better mounting and less weight form the start...that's more important than a product that works. Much like the Sham-wow.

updated pictures of my reroute. I'm taking pre-orders now.

Damn....revolutionary wrinkle red valve cover?
I guess I must be delusional when I saw a stack of those at Track Dog Racing some months back. Come to think of it, there were black ones too. Jeez, I need to lay of the sea foam.

That front housing adds weight. If he ditches it his setup will be lighter. Then he has to confess everyone else has been right because he ended up with the same setup ...
