That was very well put, but way to longwinded for most of the people here to pay attention to.
Overall obama was raised into a wellfare system and wishes all of us to either be in that system or be beholden and just on the verge of the system. I didn't vote for Obama or for anyone esle for that matter becouse my state is quite stacked with republican fervor for the most part it would have been useless. What i have seen though is obama has alot of big **** he wants to change and the people who run industry, and make jobs etc( you know the people with $$).
Have been fighting him at every turn. As they should. Now dont get me wrong im not for the rich. But there is a compromise we need to make in this society.
Specifically even if we print million in the trillions the government can not employ everyone and those Rich people can last alot longer than we can without any further income. where as the normal person like me or most of you here on this forum can't, even with the federal aid etc. The bottom line is Rich people need to see the potential for profits, and make jobs for us. If they don't see the potential for profits why should they risk there capital or do anything short of sitting on the beach drinking sangreas. This gets especialy tricky when Obama, seems on the raod to use their tax dollars to bank roll his socailist agendas.

Yeah he is a black man and yeah he wants to strangle the rich woo populist president but god damn this is why we nvr had a populist president before. Becouse the average person does not understand this.
Hell i have heard say of how much each household would be able to recieve if the stimulous package was distributed between everyone evenly at one time, totalling something in the neighborhood of 100k dollars a family. This seems like a ton of money but what most people do not realize is that if we all get 100k extra dollars 100k dollars isnt gonna be ****. Its like when LCD, plasma tv's came out they where status items and 4-5k for a small one but now even some douche in the PJ's can scrape 100-200 bucks together and get something as good or in the same range as the sets that where in the thousands before. And secondly that most of the stimulous money was not spent. It was essentialy bookmarked as a guarantee aside from FDIC etc, to cover the Credit default swaps etc, that if cashed in at the moment under the rules of mark to market. It's just a paper guarantying, more paper, and a ploy for the rich to lure obama off his high horse into some real tax reform in wich they can see a return to profits, and therein create more jobs and hire more people.

Raising the minimum wage was a joke as well but i wont start on that.

rofl heated debate and discusion is what seperates us from m.net. Those same passions stir us to make our cars perform to the utmost. But at the end of the day no matter how much we disagree we still have one thing in common we love miatas, and most of us love turbos.

FWIW, I believe that women getting the right to vote is what started all of this **** but it is hard to convince people of that. Think about it for a while and you will get it too!
What? Can you elaborate on any of that, or back any of that up?

Well liberal wellfare projects grouped individuals of the same collor and a low income/education lvl into goverment constructed buildings with subsidized rents etc. Therefore they also created a mass of innocents in the mix of the less savory individuals of that demographic. These innocents mostly godfeering, and or single mothers and little kids who have no real allternative, but to go with the what they see as the succesfull people in there hood. These people mostly did not work in the conventional sense for there money but simply procured stolen property and illegal substances wich they used to support their lifestyles.
Thats the short version of where i think he is comming from on that it could be wrong but im sure he will chime in something of his own soon enough.
The womens vote issue speacks to the fact that a good majority of women dont follow the pollitical issues and make there own discisions. Instead they vote on feel, or what they sense the groups mentality to want. I dont all the way agree with this but to a certian extent it holds truer than most people are willing to admit.

I am not a political person by any means. I did however read this entire thread word for word and all I could think about is the video Brian posted. How sad is it that things like that are going on in our own country and all we have to complain about are things like skin color, health care, peace prizes, and the "branding" or the marketing of one man. All of us should hang our heads low and really think about what change really is. It is not the ideals of one man that make our country what it is, it is the people.

Sure I can. But like I said, think about it for a while. What are the differences in our society, family, role of gov't today compared to 100 years ago? A progressive would take my comment to mean I was "anti-woman" but I definitely am not.

Still not any criticism for the norwegians?

edit: you all might find it interesting that I'll be seeing him speak tonight at a dinner. I'll make sure to pass along all the vitriol.

How touching... Thats realistic, since the government really listens to the people.

So has Halliburton captured osama yet? The Peace Prize is just a reminder that the World opinion has shifted from hating The United States. Not to worry limbaugh lovers, young Americans will continue to die because of W.

I'm not hanging **** low. Skin color and peace prizes may be meaningless, but the other two have a big impact in the long run.

Wow, you ******* are pathetic. You are pissed at Obama for winning the Nobel Prize. He didn't even know he was nominated, and is giving the money to charity. He didn't give himself the prize, he didn't campaign for the prize, he had nothing to do with it. Makes one wonder what you are really pissed about... ******* get over it, he's the president. Put your hoods back in your pockets and STFU

Who's pissed at Obama for the prize? I'm just losing respect for the Nobel institute. Used to be that people had to earn a Nobel prize.

Most of the people in this thread seem to be a bit upset. And why so much emphasis on it anyway. If some jackass from bum **** Eygpt that was not deserving had won I doubt any of you would have started a thread on it. Probably would never even gave a ****. Most of you could give a flying **** about who wins the Nobel Peace Prize, and now all of a sudden you are appauled. Give me a ******* break.
