Default I used to think I was fast...

until I realized that all speed is relative. Car is running pretty well and feeling pretty damn fast...until today.

Coming home from work minding my own business, an R1 pulled up beside me on the the highway revving his engine doing the dropping back a little and then racing up thing. I gave him the you are going to dust me shrug and waved him on, but he kept looking over and was waving me on. I then pulled over into the far right lane and yet he persisted in riding right along side me waving me on. Finally I said what the heck (knowing that I was about to be completely ) and hit the throttle. The guy probably waited a good 5 seconds and then passed me like I was parked. Then he slowed down, gave me the thumbs up and took off.

Reminded me a little of this video http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...9B95B878DE.htm

there's always someone faster.
I ran the V12 twin turbo AMG mercedes sedan on the freeway and had a hard time with him, course I missed a shift too.

When you're just rolling side to side with the motorcycle, tell him,"Yeah, that's freakin' fast!" then bump into him with your car and tell him,"But I bet that hurt you a lot more than it hurt me!" and drive off laughing....

Note: Don't take that serious, there's always someone who does.

That's all an illusion, the new M6 smokes a GTO, it just seems slower because it's sooooooo luxurious.

I have 500 RWHP and he has a heavier car with 500 crank HP
(not to mention boosted vs. NA @ 6,000 feet in altitude)

The R1 runs 10's dont feel to bad most miatas have a hard time breacking into 12's. You are still fast just realize a bike is about 1/4 the wieght and a little less than half the hp in the rain you would smoke him trust me i have done enough wet riding to realise this.
