I believe so. With either way too much rear brake bias, a wanna be drifter in the driver seat, or a maniac in the driver seat. I believe it was a combination of all three.
I was purposefully using all of the track at my last track day, putting two wheels off every time as I unturned out of a hairpin. I didn't even notice I put 4 wheels off once and they flagged me in.
"Are you ok?!? You put 4 wheels in the dust!"
"I did? Can I go back to racing now?"
Where the hell were these guys' flaggers!!!?

I know that vid...and it still doesn't change the fact that most racecars are build by engineers and mine was assembled by a half-drunk bureaucrat.
