Found the Miata of my dreams
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...n-94382142.htm (check out the pictures).
Of course in my dreams this was being driven by Demi Moore. If it was just the car it would be a nightmare.
Its people with cars like this that give Miata owners a bad (really bad) name.

I would totally rock that ****. I mean I would take the subs out, put a black finish panel on it for continuity, put some better suspension components on it and take out the ghey tach. Other than that I would totally rock that on the track and drift that ****. (oh yeah and those baby teeth would come out for some baby blue or black actual tow hooks.

Are you being serious? Like really...what?
The miata isn't like some exclusive club or some crap, it's a cheap sports car that has some nice characteristics and is pretty reliable. I can post up at least 3 or 4 more succesful miata's that drift and certainly there have been others in the past. (IE Circuit City Formula Drift Miata, that a couple people have run. Ryan Hampton getting his D1 License in a Miata and several other appearances particularly in Chicago.) Honestly if Spec Miata hasn't sucked the cheapness out of the miata market I'm not sure why you'd think some people proving the miata is RWD would be such a big deal. Most people who I talk to about drifting a miata think there must be a lot of work involved and I've even got things like "So you went rotary?"...or "how much was the RWD conversion??" The miata will continue to be a unknown and underdog to a lot of the tuner market, particularly those who don't know any better.
If you were being sarcastic and simply mocking M.net though...um ignore everything above?

Seen a lot of people beef it into a wall or more commonly a guardrail. Are you specifically talking about the video where the kid plays Initial D video game then goes out with a video camera on real roads and understeers right into the guardrail? If so, that was a bout one of the poorest attempts at drifting I've seen.
