Default The Random Pictures Thread

A Porche-owning friend of mine sent me this link a little while back: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=391522

It's basically just a whole assload of transportation-related imagery. Much of it is pretty pedestrian, but there are a few cool pictures here and there. This one, for instance, pretty much summarizes the textbook definition of Fear:

I pretty much only get to see cool car stuff at Road America, so most of these pics are from there.

Its not so much that its a feaux ferrari, its that they had no respect for the most under-rated, but most enthusiast respected cars ever made.

Oh yeah, I forgot.. Honda owners think Ferraris are Italian trash.

Not so sure I'd go quite that far about the NSX. . . but I've never had the opportunity to beat on one yet. I assume my comment would be the same as the s2000 that it needs more torque, but I'll report back when that happens.

That's pretty much the opposite of subtle. Congrats. I'm gonna use that, if you don't mind. Probably tomorrow.

That Ultima is ******* mental. It must make the GM engineers feel envious that they couldn't do it that way. ******* marketing, accounting, profit, etc. They kill it for the laymen. But Jesus, them ***** is creamy...

I'll see your 8000rpm, then I'll raise you by 400rpm, 2 cylinders, 168 horsepower, and .2 seconds quicker to 60mph..

BMW FINALLY did it! The E92 ///M3.

This is my boss car. He is going to the Alps for skiing right after work... I think that is pretty cool.

I wouldn't want the faux ferrari NSX, but would you honestly take a M3 (even the new v8) over a NSX?

I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

Yea every time.. NSX looks like the owner is about 4 inches shy on their ***** and is slower. Some years have known tranny issues the engine has no umph .. please understand I was a huge Honda guy and built and raced them for years.. Honda FAILED with the NSX IMO.. It should have had about 100 more Ft/LBS of torque and about 200 more WHP redline should have been closer to 10k this was all stuff Honda was capable of doing at the time and decided to cheap out…

The Chassis was nice though… Very Nice.. I just couldn’t see dropping that much cash car and need to modify the entire drive train…

Yeah, the cool thing about the Ultima is the lap times, affordability, ease of service, and you can drive it on public roads when the weather is nice.
