I have ~100 18650's around 2ah each, with the end goal of killing enough laptop batteries to make a badass, lightweight, e-motorbike.
I like how tesla does cell fuses, found a way to make something similar DIY. The racks that hold batteries are cheap, bussbars won't be hard or too spendy. I'm getting these cells ~$0.50 each, so about $70 bucks per kWh. That's pretty decent, right?
I need more laptop batteries. Many more laptop batteries....

That's what the man said. Intake manifold from a mid-00s VW TDI engine.
Intake on top, exhaust on bottom:
More info: Intake manifold, intake flap, or EGR removal - B5 VW Passat TDI | VW TDI forum, Audi, Porsche, and Chevy Cruze diesel forum
Yet another reason why anyone who willingly purchases a modern VW product is a ******* moron.

Read the forum post I linked to.
This isn't something that happens to people who do weird, aftermarket **** to their VWs, it happens to people who were dumb enough just to buy a stock VW in the first place.
To restate, if you purchase a modern Volkswagen product, you deserve what you get.
