A lot of you know the story but I sold the engine for $300 and built this out of the shell:

I was just thinking 4th gen F-body because of the engine placement.

Yeah, like changing the ******* spark plugs on an LT1. How about replacing the EGR valve? (Read: Removing and plugging)

Head gaskets?

I'd rather swap from a piece of **** automatic to a 6 speed in a 4th gen F-body than replace spark plugs.

Reminds me of the spark plugs on my moms Dodge minivan, by the looks of it you'd almost have to remove the engine to get to the plugs on the rear facing bank of the engine.

Something like this:
Some engine setups like that require the cowl and intake manifold to be removed, just to get to the plugs.

I guess it's smart by the manufactuer. Make it hard to work on so people bring them to the dealer. Then get paid more since it takes longer to do the work.

I've patronized this store at least 250 times (roughly twice a month for 10 years) and never noticed their theme. They still audit my ******* receipt, which, as a regular, really chaps my *****.
The Jake Ladder at the Fremont store is so loud an annoying when it goes off that I cannot ignore it. The smell of ozone is quite nice but otherwise that thing is a waste of space and power.
The main thing I don't like about Fry's is that they're the only vendor who has exactly what I need, and I think they know it.

Where's the ****** battery? This requires removing the passenger side wheel, inner wheel, and nearly the fender to replace. The BATTERY......I always liked the 300M.. Except that its a Chrysler and the wrong wheels are powered... At least they put the engine in the correct direction...

Took me nearly 3 hours to replace the alternator on my Protege.. Had to damn near pull the rack to get the old one pulled out of the engine bay and the new slipped in.. Don't think they ever intended that to be done with the engine installed..
