Less than It costs me to DD the Z28. If I get over 16mpg Im pretty happy. Truck gets maybe 18mpg and like 9 when Im pulling the camper.

Its a dodge and I dont think it could have been equipped to get worse gas mileage without getting the SRT10. Its got the bigger engine (Hemi), bigger wheels (20") with bigger tires (275/60/20 vs 55s), shorter gears (3.92 optio) 4x4, 4 door.

Grand Crapster averages 11mpg city and something like 14mpg highway. That's why I've got a Protege. Need to see the Protege and buy a miserable Piece of crap TDI VW and start collecting cooking oil . . . . I've thought about a 4bt swap in the ZJ more than once.... Know where I could get the motor basically for free..

I have my car listed for sale on several websites, including clubroadster.net. This morning, I received this PM:

Questions abound.

Don't most adults have the list of state abbreviations memorized?
Even if you forgot one, wouldn't you try Googling it?
If he can't figure out how to Google it, how is the zip code going to help him?
Does he have the full nationwide list of zip codes memorized?

And perhaps most importantly --

How should I respond to his inquiry? I'm taking suggestions.

When selling I have found it easiest to just nod, smile, tell the truth, and let it go to whomever has the money...personal judgements aside.

See, Damon's got it. I'm struggling between my natural desire to respond in a snarky manner, and my realization that I don't have to respect or even like the guy that buys my car -- I only have to take his cash.

I decided that since he seemed more comfortable with numbers, I'd put my response in the form of an equation.

MS = Mississippi

He doesn't seem that far, maybe he wanted to know which side of the state his buttbuddy would be driving him to...

It's easier to search the zipcode and find a close enough distance between 2 locations...ya know in case you wanna get a hotel for the butt banging when you arrange a meeting.

A state to state distance search can vary on average of 300 miles. Zip code to zip code is usually within 10 miles.

Your analysis is spot-on, except for the fact that I listed my city and state in the post. In fact, the state is not mentioned anywhere without the city.

To bring our little story full circle:

He kind of figured it out.
