I used to be involved with the Suzuki GS crowd when I had mine. I was sorta stuck between the "keep it stock!" m.netish crowd (super christian btw) over at GSresources.com, and the "g'day mate!" street fighter crowd.
The one thing they all agreed on was that the Vetter Windjammer fairing was the ugliest piece of sin ever created.
Although there were a few on the GSR forum that would NOT admit to it's ugliness for whatever reason.

60% of $99k is $59.4k, leaving $39.6k cash. If the average servicemember with a few years in earns somewhere in the low $30s, and you throw in a few extra bucks for allowances, bonuses, special duty, then the math pretty much lines up.
