I feel like posting a few gratuitous photos of the UPS battery at work:








They're configured in three strings (white, yellow, and red), for which in each string, every single battery of that color is wired in series. (People who understand how electricity works will appreciate the ramifications of this. What the voltage on that string? Hella volts.)


I really don't know what the maximum runtime on the UPS is (several minutes at least), but it really only has to last long enough for this twin-turbo beauty to fire up:







The block heater on that engine draws 6kw.

What is this supposed to accomplish, other than trapping water in the area and accelerating the rusting process?

Some people think that if the frame is full it wont rust neglecting to think that moisture will go around it and get trapped. I remember seeing a thread on the wrangler forum about it too. Some people tried it there with the same results.
