Interesting documentary from inside China about pollution. I knew it was a dirty place but the footage is quite interesting. BTW, the Apple computer company apparently kills people.

As a facilitator and profiteer of the American news media it pains me to say this, but I continue to find Al Jazeera to be an increasingly reliable source of objective reporting and commentary.
I acknowledge that this is a dangerous slippery slope, and I am both embarrassed and mortified by the fact that the third-best broadcast newsgathering agency available to the American public is, for all intents and purposes, a de-facto agent of an enemy state.

Listening to Green Onions this morning and feeling like sharing the groove:
Joe: Yeah, I was a bit cautious when I saw that flame icon in the corner. I had actually arrived at that video after watching a very good documentary on the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race that was also one of theirs. If it is a reliable source for news that isn't overtly political in nature (such as sports, etc.), then I guess I will need to start getting used to the logo appearing more often. I heard they bought Al Gore out as well.
The Isle of Man TT documentary, since I brought it up:

Now, I'm normally the crotchety old fart sitting on his porch swing over in the corner of the forum saying "damn kids posting up all their singing' and dancin' what ain't nobody give a whip about," but then I occasionally stumble across something that makes me cast aside my prejudices and want to share with the rest of you lonely homosexual deviants.
