I figure my giant ***** will save me. In the event of a roll over it will become erect, pole vaulting the car right side up as it tries to land upside down.

I'm not being a Jew. I don't want my brains to be splattered all over the passenger compartment when my head hits the roll bar. The only way for me to be safe with a roll bar is to bolt a milk crate into the car instead of my seat so I sit lower.

At least I know for certain I cant get the NON-HT version, its right above my head. The HT version in Bruce's car was better.

How tall are you? I know plenty of 6'+ plus people who drive Miatas with roll bars with no issues. Just pad the bitch.

6'1''.

They probably have something other then the HT and Non HT version because the rest of the bars all sit further back.

Besides, arent pads designed to prevent the "helmet" from cracking on the roll bar, not your skull. So its a pretty dense material.

Artie's bar seemed to be the safest because it was furthest back. Bruces would be safe if I sat behind the wheel like I was playing the piano.

Wow.. This thread...

I come from a crowd of die hard sport bikers, and if a fellow rider of any kind has fallen we at least try and pay our respects no matter the condition. You don't get threads like, "Shouldn't have been going 100 down a public street!" Jesus Christ people, it was the ******* passenger that died in the crash! Not the douche behind the wheel!

RIP.

Whats wrong with this thread? No one said anything disrespectful. This was a reminder of why you need a roll bar, not "Hey lets mourn for this guy that killed his friend and almost died himself".

I'm sorry if the dead passenger was Jewish but from the photo I have no way of knowing his religious persuasion.

Well, there were no other cars involved and last I check cars dont just flip themselves. So id be willing to bet that the driver was doing something he shouldn't have been doing.

It all depends, guy could be charged with manslaughter with a motor vehicle etc. CA has guest passenger rule, so the surviving estate of the passenger has a claim on that ol'boy's liability coverage which is probably minimum limits and won't pay for the funeral expense.

but I dont know... .
