anything that adds more air will add more power as long as your not adding to much air.
i.e. 10hp from hooking a leaf blower up to a civic

how is it "not your typical ebay junk"? Just because it has a metal compressor housing? If anything this **** is more of a supercharger, since it will never be able to spin as fast as a real turbo.

Exactly. It may add a few hp but is ultimately completely ******* gay and a faggy wannabe of the real thing. you want to make power? get a real turbo. You want mediocre power without as much heat? get a sc. You want to be gay? Get one of those leaf blowers under your hood

PS: I'm not trying to get all heated, I just hate these gay wannabe turbo's with a passion

Dude, it was interesting and I hadn't seen one with actual metal parts before, so don't be an idiot about it! It's not like I was asking if I should put it on my car, just posted it because it caught my attention. There are many people who post much dumber crap on here....

Everybody start sending me old turbos that are otherwise destined for dumpsters. I will then remove the exhaust sides of them, and hook them up to 12v motors (note to self: find source for cheap electric motors) and sell them for $100, massively undercutting the competition. Ideally the electric motors will be sized such that they can spool the turbo for at least 5psi, drawing so much current that they melt the ricer ------s' wiring harnesses and burn their cars to the shitty crisps that they deserve to be burned to.

thomas knight : turbo upgrades + superchargers

Through that site you can get the real-deal electric superchargers, the only problem I foresee is the excess weight added by the "...additional batteries [which] will supply the higher voltage necessary to run the ESC."

Or you could get their new product advertised on the front page, a genuine "belt-driven turbocharger".
