Default well, the fastest spec miata at Hallett had a bad day

It was actually a horrendous wreck. Two cars got together at the start. The green one hit the tire wall and rolled onto the roof, but the driver walked away. Another car went into the tire wall, and got airborne...but there was a guy standing on teh tire wall (teh ok miata sm tech guy)taking pictures. He went airborne when the car hit him...then to the hospital. He's going to be ok though. Kinda makes me want to put a cage in the car.

Don't you have to run reinforcement or something if you run one like that?

Yeah those aluminum seats require a brace that attaches the seat to the back panel or roll bar i believe.

Custom or what? I have a friend of mine who races legends that basically want to give me a perfectly good kirkey racing seat that fits me perfectly...he just got to tall for it...I just heard we couldn't run them b/c they aren't supposed to be very safe.

Did you happen to catch his name? Possibly Larry Shroeder? I saw a bunch of Spec on my way back into Stilly today and wished I could've come out. Hope you had fun! I'll try and make it out there before this summer sometime.
