I cured cancer and I have the chevrons to prove it
ewwww...cancer!
Even on my frame! Ground it down then used some rust converting chemical and sprayed it with rust preventing paint.
Had to paint the black section on the bottom of Phil's old fender:
done!

Honestly I dunno, car was a garaged FL and VA car. It was repainted once before I bought it and it looks like that painted right over the rust, by the amount of gunk that collected behind the fender I assume my gutters are full and the overflow was collecting behind the fender. Last winter the car was buried and when we finally dug it out the hole appeared. The there's no rust on the rest of the car.
