R.I.P. Wes65....
A member of miataturbo.net has died, Wes65. I know some of you on here knew him. I have been a close friend with Wes for quite some time, today I was informed that he was found dead. Not many detailed on what happened. But if it wasn't for him, I know I would have never purchased my Miata. Wes was a great friend and will surely be missed. May he rest in piece.
Mods, I didn't know where to post this, if this is in the wrong spot please feel free to move it.

Condolences to both of your losses Milky and TZ. It sucks to lose a friend or a family member. As we get older, it hits closer to home. The older we get the more this type of news become more common.

Well, the story I have gotten now is that he was out with friends at a bar. Got drunk and went home, passed out on his couch and sometime while he was asleep he vomited, choked on it and passed away. They found him this morning. Very shitty situation. He was a great person to be around. Thanks everyone for the kind words. TZ, I'm sorry to hear about your loss as well. It does suck and is a part of life. We all must deal with it sooner or later, but it doesn't change the fact it sucks. The best thing to do is try to remember the good times.

When I was 16 a friend of mine was totally hammered. Him and his other friends went out to the McDonalds, he stayed in the car cause he could barely function. When his friends came out, opened the car door he fell out into the parking lot, he was blue. He had suffocated on his own vomit.
His parents were going through a nasty divorce. He was buried before his dad even found out.
Friends need to look out for each other.

That's terrible, never a pleasant way to go. There is a definite change in the way people morn depending on how someone goes. Not saying it's any less tragic, just a different type of coping. I'm sure he'll be missed.
Example: We though her dad had shot himself until I got there and was talking to the cops. That was a fun conversation because neither them nor I were on the same page talking about it for about 5-10 min.
Not trying to detract from your loss in any way. Just relating.
