What's the coolest car related thing you've seen while driving?

My best story is when I was driving a company S10 down a road that was 2 lanes each way with a center concrete divider. I heard it coming from behind before I saw it in my rear view. I couldn't tell what it was, but from the profile, the sound, and how fast it was advancing I knew it was exotic. By the time I could identify it, the red Ferrari 360 blew right by me, with a red 355 on its ***. I pushed that poor little S10 as hard as I could, weaving through traffic as the Ferraris pulled further away until I couldn't see them anymore. A few minutes later, the Ferraris blasted past me again, but coming from the opposite direction, the 360 being closely followed by the 355.

Oh, and since I was in a company vehicle (you know with the name and phone number on the side) I got several calls from shocked motorists bitching about the idiot in the little white truck who was chasing a Ferrari.

One time I was driving my semi, and three lowered black civics started harassing me, weaving under the trailer and such. I killed them.

The coolest thing that actually happened, however, would be seeing a yellow Murcielago when I was riding my Duc to work. I know a lot of you see these all the time, but it was odd for a town of 5000 in WI.

Another time, driving through Chicago, or rather sitting in traffic, a modded silver S4 came flying by everyone on the shoulder. One of the baddest exhausts I've ever heard.

I see Maseratis, Ferraris, Vipers, Porsches on a weekly/biweekly basis.

The coolest thing I think I've seen was a 16/17 year old in a brand new cobra. I was about to turn right off a highway as he was turning left onto it. Trying to impress his friend I guess he gunned it, oversteered, let-go and over corrected and drove straight into our local pepsi plant's sign.

then there's my cell phone pix...

Broke *** Lambo:

Toting bumper through window:

Dunno what to say about this guy:

Irony: icecream truck on fire

Truck lost brakes...used a row of cars to stop:

These two pics were on our way home from Miatas at the Gap this past July;

I slowed down because of the Impala with lights and badge decal only to find this:

In SLC there are a lot of money cars, I see TT Porsches daily, even in bad weather, that awd must work well. See 2 or 3 Elises a week, Ferraris every other week. And probably 15-20 AMG upgraded MB's seen daily. Oh, then there is the family with 2 Ford GT's in the garage, a red one and a blue one, I heard they have some connection to one of the salt mining companies.

Oh, the coolest thing?? Other than seeing a Carrera GT on the road in New Mexico 2 years ago this week with snow still on the sides of the road, not too much cooler than that. Unless you want to count the time I saw a couple getting it on in the front seat of a Jetta 30 feet off the side of the highway just past Park City in the middle of the day.

not too long ago I saw a Lambo muria being chased by a pantera. they were "racing" but really just driving fast together.

and a few years back I got passed by a db12 while I was doing about 100 on my motorcycle, he must have been doing 120-130 because he sucked me into his lane as he passed and it sounded like a Tie fighter. so cool.

Living in DC has it's advantages as braineack said.

Authough you gata love the street bikes that fly past at 3am at 150mph out of nowhere. Also I love seeing the random r32 skylines. One time I saw a modded r33 just cruzin thru mid-afternoon traffic.

Running from LAX to Lancaster, CA in 45 mins while racing a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo at speeds in excess of 145 MPH up the 14 Freeway. He had me on the straights, just walked me, I had him in the curves thanks to my street tires.... B F Goodrich R1's, LOL, He was not amused by the trans am leaving him in the corners, I was not amused by how badly he walked me on the straights... but we had a great time.

The coolest thing I ever saw in the summer this year in downtown Vancouver
was a pack of 8 Lamborghini's cruising around together.
