Just wanted to vent somewhere, because this is pretty lame.

So about a week ago, I post a blow off valve and intercooler pipe kit for sale on clubroadster.

I get a bunch of the regulars shitting on the for sale thread, mainly telling me $200 is too much, $150 is right... as if a potential buyer couldn't have sent that offer through pm' without them pointing it out...

Anyhow, a mod ends up locking the thread and banning me for a week because i wasnt selling "miata specific parts; read the rules".

Well turns out that idiot mod just mis-read my original post, and thought it was unrelated to miatas.

The 1 week ban expires, so I PM the mod, and bring it to his attention that the banning was completely unneccessary and due entirely to his incompetence as a moderator.

I check cr.net today, and I'm permanently banned... reason: "no reason" ugh...

- get temp-banned for 1 week by mod who mistakes it for non-miata related parts
- 1 week ban expires, I pm the mod to ask wtf the problem was
- Get perma-banned for bringing up his incompetence as a mod.

Should have just listed the blow off valve for 150 and dumped the piping into a toilet where it belongs

Everyone got too caught up in looking at the piping. Bottom line is this isn't some crushed 1g dsm bov you guys sourced from a junkyard.

The bov itself is in excellent condition and goes for $250 new.

Seeing it comes with a variety of extra stuff, I thought asking $200 (and obviously willing to negotiate further) was totally fair opening asking price.


Point I was trying to make is that I got perma-banned based on some moderators ineptitude at reading a few sentences of my OP in that cr.net thread.

edit: I see ugly looking stuff sold on here every damn day. Don't know why you guys take offence to mine in particular.

After reading that thread, I learned a greddy type R is worth about $150, discontinued by greddy and therefore becoming very desirable.

I posted copies every one of your abusive PMs to me in the CR moderator forum, GT42R. We have a place for problem threads and users. I then went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, there had been a bunch of discussion and you were banned. No idea which of the other guys cut your cord, but it was agreed upon by everyone.

Hope you're not too sore. But you made 20 posts over there and you registered in 2007! Doesn't sound like being banned from CR is any great loss to you.

I see your point. And yes there is quite a bit of **** being sold here that is not worth more than 2 bux.
I think the reason people got irritated is that you keep mentioning your 500whp miata when we have yet to see a single pic or documentary of the build. You also try to make it sounds like some badass intercooler piping that "worked at 500whp" when in reality it looks like a pile of hacked up dog ****.


I say, put up the bov for 150 obo, and the piping for 50 obo shipped and I'm sure people won't get as irritated. Or at least I wont lol....Just my opinion. Just trying to help (in my own fucked up little way)
