Me bored + lack of end table + old wheels = this
Got bored; need and end table and didnt wanna buy one; had an old spare tire, a damaged beyond use 13" magnesium panasport, and old miata rotor, and some conduit laying around so i made this, now all i gotta do is have a piece of plexi-glass or glass cut to put on top and i got a pretty seet looking table for just a few bucks...please critisize and tell me it sux b/c im pretty proud of it

should paint an old caliper red and put it on just for *****, thats pretty cool though. Reminds me of an old table I saw that was an old v8 block with the rod/piston assemblies holding up the piece of glass in the middle. Or the valve stem wine glass

I was thinking about throwing caliper on there but just didnt have on laying around, so im not gonna go out and buy one, if you have one you want to donate though....
A table like that will be my first project after putting a new motor int he miata once i blow this one up..LOL

That is ****, do want!!! Nothing says bachelor like a block coffee table/wine rack, sweet.
Your little end table looks pretty neat too, I would lay a very thin been of clear silicone on the very edge of the rim and let it harden before you put glass on it, plexi just wont cut it.
Go to a store that sells tables, buy one with a round glass top, go outside, load glass in your car/truck, walk back in saying this piece of **** didnt have glass in it and you want your money back. Just kidding, don't do that.

I made one out of a generic GM 350 block a couple of years ago, with a polished wood top. Spent a couple of days cleaning and painting the bare block. Wife said it wasn't going in the house. I saved the top, but pitched the block in the recycle bin at work.
