it's just plain not neccessary

the hydralics are a pain in the *** and the autos launch easier and are quicker 0-60 and in the 1/4. I could do a T56 like the GTO but it's just really not worth it, I've been down this road before with a 350ci FC.

I guess
I'm sure that engine would still get $500 or so, but I'd want a spotless shell.

you forgot the biggest reason, they suck.

slap happy assembly? More like trying to keep a round O-ring stretched into an oval channel 1/8" deep is ******* retarded. Not even mentioning the original mazda apex seal design, no wonder they grenaded.

in any event who in the **** picks a no torque rotary over a 300ft lbs at idle V8 for general street debauchery, besides rotards and idiots?

The first one we built was well over 400hp on stock turbos and is still running strong today and raced nearly every weekend and driven daily.
No, it's really not. I could jizz all over the center plate and get the seals to stick better than with hylomar. The seals still just roll right out of the channel.

Philip,

You need to look into an insurance amscay... pull the drivetrain out of the GTO, file the numbers off and push the chassis into a lake.
