Default So who carries debt?

In light of our recent 80$ discussion I got to thinking how many other users on here carry debt they either don't consider to pay, or just plain right off.
I can see debt on a Car, house etc. Sure but CC's, laons from freinds, etc. how many off you see these as acceptable debts to carry? Or am i just way out of line here. Seeing as I have no credit, and everytime I think about buying something big i talk myself out of it. So what do you guys think?

Cars paid in cash does not mean drug dealer. It means dedicated. If his car was a new NC i would think different then.

well as I am in college I am in hugh debt and I ******* hate it.

I have a CC and School debt but nothing else.... now my school debt is that of a small house

I plan to pay my college off within 5 year top(hopefully 3) I have no car payment(alway paid cash), and my CC is just to help with school like my computer and other jack-up ****.

I want to get to a point where a mortgage is the only debt I have. Well that is the goal atleast

My money making means aren't illegal by any means. I just happen to be on scholarship for NCAA Rifle. This makes college very nice. Room and board is easy to manage when they take care of tuition books and fees.

I have around 20k in credit card debt. Had 0 credit card debt before I was injured 18 months ago. Not being able to work + doctor bills is the suck.

I also depleted my savings, nearly 50k, but most of it went to my new house.

Have a house payment. No car payments.

Small car payment with 0% interest. That's it.

In HS, debt is yet to come...

With the ridiculous amounts that colleges want for tuition now a days I think that those online college things are going to get a lot more popular as they are attractive for obvious financial reasons. But I don't know about the level of education that one would receive online, and how it would look to others.

Oh and I owe my dad $500 for some parts I broke when I hit a storm drain via a deer.

0 debt

All cars paid cash. Looking for a house to change my debt free money free lifestyle. Although with the market the way it is, its almost cheaper to get a 300-400k house than rent where I need to live.

I have my mortgage, and some credit cards. That is all that I have, credit is a good thing when used properly. The owing friends money thing though on the other hand, I will try my hardest to keep from borrowing money from friends. If I do, that becomes my first priority.

How old are you guys that have no debt? Kids?

I now only have a mortgage and a payment on a vehicle. Otherwise no debt. But that's recent. Before that I had my fair share.

Built a house this year. Sold my condo to do it and got $304K for it. Took nearly a year to build and since the market has gone insane. Paid $250K for the house, it's now worth nearly $400K. Has been a good year for us. Nice small mortgage, and paid off all my debt and bought some toys.

Nice jayc.
21, 3 semesters left in college, g/f with no plans to be married for a few years. I'll get out with no debt. Once i have a good paying job out of college i'll be buying some sort of fixer upper house/condo wherever i'm living if the market is good there.
