Cutting and fitting done by me. All welding done by Rob at Flipside and Matt at Speedware Motorsports.
As far as the diverter goes, I just set it up like the OEM's do.
I am going to finish bead blasting the pipes and decide on a finish down the road. I may do black wrinkle for an OEM look.
Tim, The canister is just an Ebay special from some company that sells a 3" turbo back exhaust for $399 shipped for WRX's. I'll be honest.....the car sounds great for a Subie.

Very nice setup!
Heres a video of a local guy and his street car.. lol.. well, not so much a street car but it does make its way to the street every now and then.
What kind of power are you looking to make ?
And another local turbo vdub.
Keep up the good work! Cant wait for dyno graphs and videos

i've owned 4 vw's of various ages ('99, 90, 2000, and now my '84 and my girlfriend has an '01) and haven't really needed a part i couldn't get yet. and that includes my current car, which is a bit of a Frankenstein. when it comes to engine parts i just need corrado stuff. everything else is simple enough to find for sale online. it really only gets tricky if you have one of the crazy rare cars.
as for being weird, i think pretty much everything else is weird because they are what i cut my teeth on. you wanna talk weird, go look at an old saab
and props for the build. when i get rid of my car i'm probably going to have some serious withdrawal issues.
