Default Amazing scale model of a complete airport

Check this out! This is one of the most amazing scale models I have ever seen.

Goddamn! Somebody has some time and money to blow. Impressive model. Wonder exactly what scale. Hard to really tell how large some of the objects really are. Looks like some of the planes are in the 2' wing span area.

How ******* boss would it be to jump up there and Godzilla attack that ****!

Having spent some serious time around airports, in addition to it being bad-*** all around, was the detail inside the maintenance hangar. I saw some highly detailed cracks in the floor and a properly spaced floor drainage system. I know they tried to do an exact replica, so those cracks and drains are probably identical to the real ones in that actual hangar.

There are some other Youtube videos on it, but all in German. If anybody finds a "behind the scenes" in English, please post it.

Pretty bad ***, I gotta ask though, besides the obvious novelty of it, what's the purpose of spending all that time and 3.5M EURO on something like this?

Fail. Those planes are pulling up to the jetway at a totally unrealistic speed.

Fail. Those flightline vehicles are traveling at totally unrealistic unsafe taxi speeds.

What's up with the space shuttle? They're not even in service anymore.

I wonder if there are real drug smugglers in there? Maybe some terrorists with dirt bombs?

I'm thinking that's a really expensive way to draw in JO buddies.

MCO is weird. It's like a suburban shopping mall which happens to have airline gates attached to it for no obvious reason.
