Default Sound controlled switch

Some of you guys are pretty much electrical geniuses, anyone know how to rig up a sound activated switch?

Basically a switch that would sense a bass drum hit and flick a light on for a second. I'm working on lighting for my band to play shows and thought this would be a cool addition to the setup.

I'd attach a switch to my pedal if I were you. would make things much easier than a sound controlled switch.

The switch would be a good idea but I'd need one on each pedal.

That controller though might be the easiest way.
