I resemble that remark.

God I wish I had a bigger turbo.

To me...every car enthusiast is an enthusiast regardless. I used to be into muscle cars, then did the Honda thing...and am now happy where I'm at. These guys just have a different outlook and purpose than us...big whoop.

I like to go fast and get the most out of my car. Some guys just like a ride they have to ask their fat gf to get out of before tackling a speed bump.

I think the s2000 looks great, but the the white and black lexus both look like *** in my humble opinion.

But I admit, I'm very partial to street cars, I don't have much use for a call that you can only use for a car show, or only on the track. I can respect those types of cars, but I tend not to like them very much. Thats one of the reason I was drawn to the miata. A car that is perfectly trackable, and even after extensive mods its also a fun street car.

Something so low the oil pan is in risk on every set of rail road tracks doesn't seen useful to me. Its only my opinion, but I'm still right!

I'm a Hater...It appears that most of the (f-ing awsome) rides are afflicted with Down's Syndrome - one mod too many (car chromosome 21 - "wheel/suspension") in the offset/suspension department.

If your tires are so stretched you can't see the rubber you might have gone to far.

Some of the 4 door cars like the lexus and infinitis look good lowered and **** because they are not a performance oriented vehicle.
Now when you take something (like a sports car) and make it into something its not, its lame.
Even with the luxury cars some people go over board. The white Lexus on that Hellaflush website looks retarded, But the black SC looks great. He didnt go overboard with the gay *** negative rear cambarzzz.

argh I think the miata looks pretty darn sick when it's slammed but you have to drive slammed cars ridiculously slowly everywhere. if you're going to the sydeshow then you don't really care about driving fast do you? ghostriding the miata whip in 1st is way too fast though. i'm glad i don't live in california. :(

Stretched tires and slammed cars makes my dick soft.

I've never stooped so low as to go on CR, but on m.net I often wanted to ******* kill and skull **** some of those guys with slammed cars and stretched tires, rusty hoods, removed fenders, ect. I don't like hearing retards run their mouths. Part of the CE28N nut swinger brigade.

Lame. I joined CR to get some ideas on paint but.....now I realized that they are just a cult of ------s withreally, REALLY slow cars who have a class system based on how much damage you can do to your nearly un-drivable car.

Damnit I got a warning for language.

I am pretty new to both forums and miatas in general, but not new to cars. One thing I can say is this... What people want to do to their cars is up to them. I prefer usable suspension and would never harm the performance of my suspension just to "look" cool. Everything I do to my car is performance oriented... My only question is this- why all the haterade being thrown around. In the end its a car and its not your car. Why should anyone give a rats *** what anyone else does to their car. Let them slam their ****, and in 20k (if the oil pan survives) their frame rails will be so screwed that the car won't be worth a damn.

I can honestly say I don't hate anyone, but I get pretty annoyed when I hear the term "Hater" being thrown out because of a dislike or disagrees with something someone else is doing.

I'm a member of another group that seems to think any modification to a miata is evil, but I don't call them haters, we just don't agree. I'm not making fun of these guys, I just don't understand. Many of the cars that are being modified are performance oriented, making this sort of modification seems as silly "to me" as putting 26" wheels on an impala. I don't getting it, and maybe I never will, but the cool thing is on this forum we can discuss it.

Then ridicule the car owners once we feel the urge.

I am referring to the comments ie such as calling people **** for slamming their cars. I don't like the term hater either, but I am having a hard time calling it anything else. Please provide me with a better term for it. Disliking something someone does is an opinion. Disliking the person for something they do is what I am referring to.

The term gets thrown around too much I agree, but IMO fits well with some of the comments made in this thread.

EDIT- Not attempting to call anyone out or anything like that. Not trying to start an argument. Basicly asking the question- why can't we all just get along- lol.

Some of the comments probably come from people being passionate about cars. Passions can lead people to extremes. I think the best term for someone expressing a dislike for something someone else does is just that, dislike. As long as they aren't talking about beatings, its probably nothing the more than just disagreeing with what that person is deciding to do to the car they own. We all realize it not our car.

But consider this, making your fenders or deck lid rusty is like cutting holes in a perfectly good pair of jeans. Why would you do it, whats the point of ruining something for a Fashion Fad?
