Very few in the military might be genuinely offended because we know what a dork he is... but the general public no matter what they might think about the war always support the troops. He'll never recover from this. He's done. The Repubs will never let it go and they'd be right not to.
I try to stay out of politics because I'm just not smart enough... but part of both the enlisted and officer's oath of service includes:
"...I will obey the orders of the President of the United States..."
I'd resign my commission before I'd serve under that guy. He just doesn't have enough ***** or brains. I really think he's just a big ugly putz and I won't follow a man I know just isn't capable of making the right decisions.

it's not like bush is the smartest cracker in the barrel....I like being apathedic cause i'll make fun of everyone.
I know JK didn't mean exactly what he said when he was trying to make the point, but man, he sounded like an idiot. Not saying he's wrong/right, just saying he did a bad job trying to make a bad point...dumbass.

john kerry didn't shoot himself in the foot nor is he "done"... he's not even running for anything. the democratic party said, "sit down and keep quiet for the rest of the campaign, dork."
but it's nice that bush takes time out of his day to criticize him anyway.

On NPR they were saying "bush finally gets to go on the offensive" (with this) It's been awhile I guess. It reminds me of the following story. (Check this Loki)
I live in Arizona. Recently the "weekly" ran a story on the border patrol. The reporter went out there to the "trenches" so to speak.
Somewhere out along the "front lines" is a hobbyhorse. This is a well-designed piece made of various steel parts littered along the border. Considerable effort and resourcefulness went into the construction. Let me just say again there's a hobbyhorse out there for the amusement of our border patrol. Although the unit has admitted the piece is theirs, "No agents have admitted to riding the horse"
It's not like they have something else to do?
