Along the same vein...
I drive a big 4x4 truck in the winter and always carry a tow strap. I have often pulled people out of the ditch when it snows and they go off of the interstate, etc. I never take money for it, as I don't need the laibility. Also, my rule is, the other person must hook up their end of the strap.
One day, I came upon a little car stuck in the median after he spun in. I don't recall, but it was a cavalier, or something. He was stuck pretty good. I asked him if he knew how to hook up the strap. He said yes. Hooked it up and I jerked him out. When I went back to retrieve my strap I saw antifreeze everywhere. He told me he must have overheated it spinning the tires trying to get unstuck. I agreed, quickly unhooked my tow strap from the radiator support where he had hooked it,
and drove off.

What a ****** idiot! I guess that's what happens when you drive something that's "wrong wheel drive." I'm just glad to see the diminishing population of fart canned honda civic around here. People are starting to invest their money in respectible **** like G35's and LS1 Camaro's. I did pull up beside a guy with a hardtop S2000 the other day, and I gave my car a little throttle and slowly passed him, but looked in my rear view to notice a HUGE intercooler. So I was like, no wonder he didn't get on it....he knew that I knew I woulda got walked.

I didn't realize that chucker was the original starter of this thread...but yeah dude...that's bullshit about the Durango with the leak...F that...I don't give a **** if it's a Mercedes Benz SLK-230 Kompressor with a coolant leak! If she is some immigrant POS that can't even F'n play by the rules, than F her and that stupid Mopar SUV she is drivin...and F her for bein a dumb latino POS. I woulda told her that I think her turn signals need an oil change, (and she wouldn't have even known WTF I was talkin about anyway), and I would've did the "good samaritan" and kindly let her radiator and engine oil drain (Into and environmentally save container of course) and watched her drive away, knowing that 3 miles down the hot steamy road, her engine would ceased faster than A REAL AMERCIAN at the OBAMA voting booth, and I woulda laughed at the mayhen that she would'nt even have been able to comprehend. I missed my best friend's high school graduation because I picked up a hitchhiker. I found out that she was a prostitute who was strung out on smack who had run away from her pimp. She asked me to take her to the hospital to start rehab and I sat there for 6 hours while the nurses refused to talk until they realized that I had picked her up off the street and was "uninvolved". Then they took her away...
I also once had a chick drummer audition for a spot in my band and I found out she was asthmatic and was susceptible to panic attacks. That one ended up in the hospital too and then started screaming at my bassist and I when we told her that we had locked her keys in her car with her drum equipment (she had asked us to do so 40 minutes prior). And then we left.
To mr 4x4- that is very nice of you and you live in a different part of the country where people aren't as *****-like but here in our parts in the dc area someone would probably sue you even if they broke their own car with your tow strap. My first car (mercedes 1979 450SLC) once broke down in the middle of 495 which is one of the most congested highways in the country after the fuel pump went out and the car backfired and I freaked out because I had my headphones on. I swerved and the long-wheel based car spun around twice and then stopped spinning while I was facing backwards, screeching along the road at 60mph with the grill of a semi in my face. I waved my hands franticly at mr. semi hoping for him to see me then the car spun around and rolled to a stop facing the right way, in the middle lane of the highway. Car wouldn't start since the fuel pump was dead and so I put on the blinkers. Cars were barely missing mine, and almost every single one was honking. Nobody even stopped or slowed down when I got out of the car and ran to the side of the road...
I dunno, some girls are just hysterical needy useless creatures and they should be left alone to dig their own graves.

Well, you're wrong. So now since you think I judge people by looking at them, I guess you are free to judge me over some digital connection, even though you never met me. Hey go ahead, I forgot that we're all on here to discuss our love for turbo charging the Miata. So I apologize for a comment that people took the wrong way, and for those that were ignorant enough to think it actually meant something, F U. I guess I just was a little pissed off and typed without thinking about offending anybody. I have been training this dude at work, and he hardly can understand english. It's just frustrating, cause I am responsible for him. So if I tell him to do something and he does the opposite cause he doesn't understand my language, my boss still holds me responsible. Which is bullshit, cause I don't think I should have to put up with him at all. It's to the point where I could tell him to take his lockout tag, and lockout a certain machine...and he'd start the machine instead. It's not going to be funny when he misunderstands and someone looses an arm. It just frustrates me...I had to take tests and have proper schooling to get where I am, and you can't even tell me that this dude passed those tests. So why does he have the position as me? I just feel like I busted my *** to watch someone get their handout. So again I apologize for the racist style comment, I didn't mean it like that. I don't discriminate. If I can understand what you say, and you work hard like me to get where you are....then I'm cool.

it's a tough spot to be in, but instead of bringing it to your boss as a complaint, try to get your boss's opinion and ask him for advice on how HE would handle the situation. not only will he not think you're whiney but he'll appreciate that you think he's "wise".
just go up to your boss and ask if he has a few mins and tell him you have a hard challenge and what would he do in your situation. if he's a dick, find his boss and ask about both of them
