I have a light switch in my workshop that turns on my Harbor Freight shallow well pump. I installed it because the pressure switch kept screwing up (replaced it twice) and I got tired of messing with it. Now if I want to use the sink (or my wife wants to water the grass) I just flip the switch and have a jumper across the pump switch. The problem is I keep forgetting to turn it off. I'd like to put some sort of INEXPENSIVE flasher on the light switch so it will blink or light up when the switch is closed. I'll drill a hole in the light switch and install the blinker so it is tied to the downstream side of the switch. I've been unable to figure out how to search for something like that. Any ideas?

If you don't care about being legal, you could wire a radioshack bulb to the faceplace. They have little panel mount lamps that run on 110, in most stores at least.

There are standard switches that have pilot lights on them. Some are set to be on when the switch is off, for locating the switch in the dark, but other are a true pilot and light when the switch is in the closed position. They don't flash, however.
