Default teach a guy to weld ...

Teach a guy to fish and he'll never go hungry ... teach a guy to weld and he'll build a Hummer body from scratch?

Guy from Qubec built himself a Hummer body to fit over an F150 pickup. All with a Lincoln 110V machine and a home made sheet metal break. Amazing, how one's insanity will manifest itself. Oh ya, he'd never welded before this project.

Still impressive none the less. I hadn't seen it, I assumed others might not have.

This is the reason I am on THIS forum. I am building a Locost7, Miata-based so I have been hitting a lot of Miata forums. Best place for plans is http://mcsorley.net/locost/. He has drawn the "book" plans on CAD and they are free. Take a look at his site and you will see what the "book" is.

Miata-based (whole drivetrain, including IRS, steering, front spindles, brakes) Locost7 is website is http://www.cheapsportscar.net/
