Default Who knows how to do Index of Qualitative Variation(IQV)?

Math noob/boob here:

In attached document its problem 4, part B.

To calculate the IQV we:

k(N2 – S f2 )
N2 (k-1)

(those 2's are squared not 2)

You can google stuff on excel and figure out how to make a bar graph. I've done that before, so anyone can do it.

As for 4b, dunno. What's your major?

Figured out 5c. Just cheated and input the information without using the excel formula.

I was sitting here trying to calculate how many beers it would take for me to try and pretend like I remembered a single thing from my college quant classes, and I got 42 also!

I had a teacher tell me in HS, "He who has the math has the money". So I'm retaking Cal 4. And DE... Kicking *** in my other classes though. Doing a regenerative cycle in thermo II right now, and almost got it. I think..

Just in case anyone was curious I got a thermal efficiency of 35.8%. But that's an ideal case of course, neglecting the turbine and two pump's efficiencies.

I had a doctor tell me once "the sloppier the handwriting, the more money the person makes." Seemed to be working for him.

That seems to be the truth. All of our big clients at work (medical lab) have the shittiest handwriting skills. Though its likely an assistant or something.

Ah okay, I was wondering myself.

p.s. teach gave the whole class an extension today because he had been on conference and unable to answer questions.

I asked him today, and he showed me. He wanted me to make up the frequencies to show the highest/lowest variation. After I found out he wanted us to fabricate the math, I copied from this cute girl who sits next to me.
