Default Hello from good old England!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, just popped in from the UK to say hello!!

Just got my first MX5 last week and am trying to find another before christmas for my business www.trackdayuk.co.uk

Whilst here,i have been told to ask about seat foamectomy so i can perform the operation on my seats to gain more space for roll cages and roofs.

Does anyone know where the thread is located on here as i cant find it.

Thats probably because im s thick limey

Thanks

Liam

You can also just trim the foam down with an electric knife. Similar to what people carve turkey with. Then reinstall the foam.

i took out chunks of the bottom with a razor (not advised) and left some of the back foam because the sides of the seat were digging inbetween my shoulder blades, and when reassembling, use zipties instead of those metal rings

A table knife with serrations at the tip works best for shaving and reducing the foam. Also great for radiator hose cutting.

Bread knife, large and serrated and sucks for anything but bread and breadlike substances.
