Thats what i'm worried about. Tanner is cool guy (so i've been told) but i'm worried that the series will be one sided as tanner might be the only one with knowledge and passion about cars.

Tanner is akward on camera, the chubby dude was easily the best on camera. Isnt the third dude an actor?

Sucked HARD.

Complaining about the lack of cupholders in a Lambo. Seriously? Let's continue to perpetuate the stupid American don't know **** about cars.

Cobra attack copter against a Viper? Seriously? I wish they would have lit them up for real. "Might" have saved the show if they did that.

It wasn't at all bad, just very awkward. If the BBC version didn't exist, this wouldn't seem so weird.

Only thing I hate about that show is the over done stare downs. This week was the lady and her dead younger sister (her screaming sucked to) and last week it was the guy and his wife while they fucked. The show is too awesome for the soap opera crap like that.

Just remembered the stare down from the first episode. Black zombie lady through the peep hole in the door. Still baderasser than a lot of shows.

They need to replace mole guy with someone like Christopher Titus.
More FAIL for not doing the standing mile at the same time.

You'd need A LOT of room to do that, and that may have been a condition of lending the cars to the show. There was over $1m worth of cars there, it would have been a very expensive accident.

I watched the first half and then got pulled away. Not too bad, made me laugh in some places. Hopefully it will get better. Someone on this forum knows the bearded dude, said he was a totally cool, car guy.

I'll give it a couple more chances, I had fun watching Tanner throw that Viper around.

We should give them a few episodes to work on chemistry, the old Top Gear shows are terrible. The first season of Curb Your Enthusiasm was unwatchable, then became one of my favorites a few years later.

I was all set to watch it last night but my GF made dinner and I decided dinner with GF > than TPG America. Sounds like I made the right choice.

Now to dl and watch it and see if it is putrid crap like the commercials made it seem.

Jalopnik mentioned that the first episode was pretty clunky, the second episode was an improvement, and the third episode actually felt pretty natural. We'll see. Well, I won't, I don't have cable, but I guess you guys will see.

At least it was better than top gear australia... That **** was painful. Also, moleman needs to be replaced, every time he's on camera its all you can see... esp. when he's driving a car.

i watched 2 minutes. couldn't stand it. I enjoy watching silly looking brits doing silly things.

What i dont enjoy: watching chubby douches doing douchey things spitting out douchey scripts.
