you're going to want a 1.6 rad cover plate, not the 1.8 pictured...

I think they make some packing errors every once in a while at BEGi, I have a piece that I have no freaking Idea what it is for just sitting on the shelf of my desk that was apparantly intended for another kit/project or whatever.

Oh and I hope you like turbolag, cuz you are gonna get a bit of it on your setup ... I have plenty on my 2554, and would not want any larger

as long as I make about 12psi at 4000, my expectations will be met. Hopefully the 3" exhuast will help.

Maybe it is a GT28RS with the large inlet cut off and a smaller inlet welded on?

Am I the only one who doesn't like BEGI's transitions and their flex joint?

But I'm still glad you finally got a kit

my step from 2.5" to 2.75" is after the flex joint, a lot less welds on mine:

Scotts downpipe looks a lot nicer. I wonder if that's the difference between BEGI's once off (scott) and their production bits?

Why do BEGI's pipes look like they are spraypainted? Let us see the stainless welds!!!! Man I love a nice bead with a nice even discoloration. Don't paint or polish the weld area.

Unless the welds suck and it's obvious. But I doubt that from BEGI!

Right?

FWIW, everything I've gotten from BEGI has been top-notch.

Yep. Kinda looks like pipes you get in a chinese turbo kit. By cleaning the pipe after welding they make it look...I dunno...less clean? It doesn't really matter as long as the welds don't crack. The pipe will turn colors after a few heat cycles anyways.

Actually no, chinese welds are ground smooth so you can't even see them, while the inside of the pipe is all full of slag. Boo.

sounds like my first DIY downpipe.

I had to dremel out wire that had shot thru the weld to the other side of the pipe and made a little wire bridge. hehe.

the weld on the inside lip of that flange is beautiful. I'll take a shot tomorrow since it's off....The thing has turned to a purplish hue, however it's dirty and full of water/salt/sand spots
