Care to experience the feeling????
Assume both owners can handle their car and came from karting/racing background at a young age.
Consider a s2000 like mine is easily capable of 500whp on a stock block with my turbo setup. Then consider hitting 2600lbs isn't all the difficult.

SAD, SAD, SAD. You cannot come on here, start this complete ****-storm and then show us a base s2gay with stick on hood scoops, a pea shooter exhaust, and some mugen bling. Pal you became a victim of a mob and it was all your own doing. As far as your personal life I don't care if you like to bight pillows, but you obviously like to be the center of attention and you got it.
You know a shrink could have a field day with this you and you, your ---- fissures, and your need to confront mostly guys.
Do you jack it when you read this forum?
Seriously, stfu and get the **** out of my life. Don't talk **** that you can't back up. I have close connections with several of the mods here and I can get your ip address from Rick easily. You won't talk so tough when I'm at your front door with my delt ramming your face. Final warning.

Lastly I run a forum myself and my IP isn't at home dipshit. YOU ARE AN ARROGANT ------. PERIOD.
now back to what's his name and his car. As far as me saying 500whp capable what I mean is that the motor can run a long healthy life at that hp. There's S2000 motors that can make 1000whp. Certainly 450whp is quite safe as many have put endless miles on a S2000 with that hp on a stock bottom end. I'm not talking **** on the miata, on the contrary as my original post states, its very capable. However I don't think the 1.6 will put 500whp for an extended period of time safely. Perhaps some have done it though, I just haven't dealt with anyone who has or heard of any from a reliable source. However consider there is companies that will right now sell a fully built F20c or F22c that will put down 1000whp with an annual partial tear down to make sure things are going well. ( I was considering one of these ) Now would it really last...who knows, only someone who has one. What will my motor make when I slam it back together? We'll see. Only a a day at tuning on the dyno will tell. I'm feeling quite confident that I'll be in the mid 400's with my setup. However....we'll just have to see. As for a race!!!! I'm def. interested that'd be fun!
Here's where you can really tell your a moron... Where you make a public violent threat to someone and then explain exactly how you would find them. Now here's where I will make public my notice to you. WHICH IS A LEGAL ONE. I have in my house a home defense shot gun and I carry a sw99 9mm which I have a permit for. 2 Members of my family are local police, as well as my nextdoor neighbor. Let me clarify what I really mean. If you show up at my door, and take a single step. I will shoot you 10 rounds +1 in the chamber and kick your head in. I hope I make myself clear
Now get a ******* life and grow up "hustler".
PS to the mario karting comment posted... REAL karting @$$!!! from JR stuff through KT100 ...rotax and 125 shifter. Been a few years though, missing it :( Just eats up a lot of money quick. It's one of those thing's that seems cheap when you look at startup costs on some CRG 125 and then you look back after a year at how much went into karting and you go "OMG!!! that' can't be right" I spent a little time in the F2000 class as well, which only costed more!!! however was a blast. Sad part is they're really not that thrilling except for the cornering and the fact that your wheel to wheel racing with an identical pack of cars. My boss helped me into that, he was lucky enough to race in a champcar for a few seasons......I could only dream.

A side point - for the $10,000 difference, I don't need a stock block. A $4000 miata with 10 k in engine mods will hold lots of boost, and cost less than a 20,000 s2k. :-P[/QUOTE]
This point is the best one made, which is why my first post was a comment about their capability for the dollar. Not only that but if you waste your car in BW Turn 4 you can always take your fun parts and walk to another dirty cheap car. THAT is worth something!!!
PROPS there!
Curious to some knowledgeable folk, how much can safely be made your motor's stock bottom end. When I say safe, I mean good for 150,000 miles perhaps. I'd assume 350 to 400whp+ is pushing your luck pretty hard? My S was honestly quite slow with the first turbo build...can't say I was happy. However, it was due to some obvious things simply not done right the 1st time, the 1st of which is a 11.1:1 compression ratio w/ a turbo, but a few small details ended up robbing me of power. I have the turbo manifold and turbo out currently, Soon as I get a little time and get this thing back together it should be enjoyable.

Dunno about 150k miles, but a long lived 300 whp on 94 octane is pretty doable on an unopened motor. At > 250 ft-lbs the trannies get pretty hit or miss. The majority are doing between 200 and 250 whp depending on the quality of the tuning. My miata is at ~240 whp, makes full boost at 2700RPM, and was a bit quicker than my supercharged E36 M3, until I put cams and headwork in the M3 (which went from 280 to est. 320 whp).

150,000 miles.... clearly you're not running enough boost if your motor lasts that long.
there's a lot of data at 230 rwhp miatas lasting indefinitely. Better engine management has raised that level to 250-260. Even on the 10:1 motors in the later cars (like mine).
Above that, there's enough weak points that it's not sustainable. diffs, tranny, rods, etc.

05TurboS2K - Thank you very much for you easy to read and articulate posts. Don't mind Hustler, he get's all pissy when he doesn't get his daily dose of cack...or at least a facial.
Rmember though, for our smaller cars, we don't really need to have that 500rwhp. At the tune of 350rwhp, things get fast. I'm at 250rwhp @ 11.5psi and can run the **** out of the car all day long (and i have at several track events) and have run even with several high $$/high hp cars on the highway (last one was a SSLK 55 AMG and a 2006 E55 AMG ). I like S2K's myself, but there are a few things i don't like at the same time. But when it all comes down to it, a respectable car is a respectable car.... unless you're Hustler and the world is measured in ***** size Oh and if you ever happen to run any track days at TGP... let me know so i can show ya a little tail light action.
